Most Innovative Financial Solutions for Corporate Client UK 2021

Santander Corporate Bank wanted to make it easier for customers to manage their cash resources around the world by providing visibility into cash across banks and accounts, currencies, and geographies. Even from its own perspective, Santander needed to enhance cash management capability to support its international growth ambitions. In the short time since it launched Global Connect, Santander Bank has attracted several international clients and is targeting 50 new clients over the next two years. By answering client’s demands for a tool for managing cash globally, Santander has demonstrated that it is a bank that understands and answers its client’s needs.

Punjab National Bank and Infosys Finacle
Best Banking Technology Overhaul India 2021

As a part of this consolidation exercise, two leading public sector banks – Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) and United Bank of India (UNI) – were merged with Punjab National Bank (PNB), making it the second-largest bank in the country. During the consolidation, the Bank delivered uninterrupted services to customers by leveraging Finacle Mobile Teller to offer 14 interoperable services, including cash deposit and withdrawal, fund transfer, fixed deposit, passbook update, and account statement generation, at any branch of PNB, OBC, or UNI. The amalgamation program was set with a timeline of 12 months with critical applications/services going Live on 1st Apr 2020 for inter-operability at all branches including eOBC/eUNI.

LINE BK is Thailand’s first social bank – a joint venture between Kasikornbank, the leading retail bank in Thailand and LINE Corporation, the provider of the top messaging application with over 49 million active users in Thailand. Reimagining banking being seamlessly delivered on a messenger app, Line BK has been successful at tapping the unbanked segment acquiring more than 2.5 million customers overall, 300,000 customers for its unsecured loans, and 30% of its customers fail to qualify for loan approval from any other loan providers.
