To meet SAMA's data localization mandate, Emirates NBD KSA ensured compliance with SAMA's regulatory requirements within the stipulated timeline. The core banking solution was successfully deployed on containers hosted on the Oracle Cloud Platform in KSA. This complex project was executed seamlessly through close collaboration between IT and business teams, with no major issues reported post go-live. With this rollout, Emirates NBD KSA became the first entity within the group to implement core banking on a public cloud.
